Humio CEO Geeta Schmidt honored among Top Women Entrepreneurs in Cloud Innovation
Hooray for our co-founder and CEO Geeta Schmidt! We are thrilled to celebrate Geeta’s recognition as one of the Top Women Entrepreneurs in Cloud Management. Here at Humio, we have always been in awe of Geeta’s leadership and passion.
On Tuesday, February 11, her leadership was recognized by the wider community at a reception hosted by CloudNow, where she was among eleven women named for the award.
As these inspiring women leaders shared their stories at the event, Geeta offered a few insights she’s developed from her years working in tech:
It’s important to build your own personal board to foster connections with the community and have a support system outside your job. By including diverse people on your personal board, you’ll open your eyes to new ideas.
Building a strong company means using active inclusion of different approaches, experiences, and ideas. Diversity of thought leads to innovative ways to solve hard problems.
You can build the best technology out there, but if you're not incorporating feedback early in the design, you aren’t building a product for the customer.
Following the awards ceremony, Geeta sat down with theCube for a short interview to share more of her story.
Humio wouldn’t be where it is today without Geeta’s leadership. Her marketing and management background was the catalyst for taking Humio from an engineering project to the multinational industry disruptor it is today.
