Observability and Alerts come together to enable real-time Incident Response and DevOps monitoring
Humio and PagerDuty enable faster response times to possible service disruptions.
By integrating PagerDuty with Humio you get real-time monitoring and live-alerting needed to stay ahead of any issues that could seriously impact service levels for end-users. Humio’s log management platform allows teams to instantly search, analyze, and visualize all of their data from a range of sources to be used for ad hoc searches, and live, shareable dashboards that can help to decrease response times.
PagerDuty enables teams to quickly take action, making incident response a clear and present part of their troubleshooting workflow. It sits at the heart of your technology ecosystem and analyzes digital signals from virtually any software-enabled system. It helps you intelligently pinpoint issues like outages and capitalize on opportunities, empowering teams to take the right real-time action.

Humio and PagerDuty bring the world of observability and alerts together to enable real-time incident response and DevOps monitoring. Bringing all the critical pieces together in one place helps provide teams with the flexibility to build complex, monitored, observable systems. And Humio and PagerDuty easily integrate to make the job so much easier.
Here’s how to set up the integration.
From the Humio cloud login page, choose where you want to configure a Humio notifier under the Repos & Views tab.
Select the Alerts menu option and select the Notifiers tab. Click on New Notifier.
Under the Notifier Type drop-down list, select PagerDuty.
Within the PagerDuty Notifier settings, enter a name for your new notifier.
Fill in the PagerDuty Integration Key field with the Humio integration key copied from your corresponding PagerDuty service. Adjust the Severity if needed.
Once the details are complete, click Create Notifier. You will be directed to the Alerts page displaying your new Notifier.
To connect the notifier to an alert, change the tab from Notifiers to Alerts. Select the alert you want to link to the PagerDuty notifier.
Under Alert Settings, update the Notifier the PagerDuty notifier just created. Select Save found next to the Alert Settings tab to update the notifier.
Now that your alert is set up, you have a glimpse into how PagerDuty and Humio can be the one place for real-time incident response and DevOps monitoring.
